not much to say about this one... it was an atempt in to painting a different kaind of enviroment then my usual forests and grasslands... So I whent for an arrid landscape... inspired from a painting from a dinosaur encyclopedia...

As for the story... just the main characters of my story engaging in a little race across the arrid fields of the Burning Wastes ( an island that long ago was part of the main continent and home to a large elven temple complex... that was of course at the time of the High Elves... but over thousands of years the chunk of land broke off from the mainland and drifted towards the Southwest... the change in climate destroyed the lush vegetation present on this land... on the mainland the area wher this land once stood is now knon as the Shellian cove ).

Jon and his dragon Draghi are currently in the lead... and have been so from the beginning of the race... and yet in the end they will loose on the final hundread meters to their competitores... Amelya Pinefrost and her dragoness mount.

Well in races like this "Whee!" would often be heard.

Yes, I understand what you mean. I'm currently trying to make a big digital image myself... one of the most complex drawing I've ever made. And I'm stunned how much time it takes me to draw it. I really don't understand how all those speed-painters are able to draw so quick...
